The Far North is home to some of New Zealand’s most beautiful beaches. A short drive from the hostel will bring you to the stunning surf beach of Taupo Bay as well as Cooper’s Beach, Cable Bay, Taipa and the Karikari Peninsula’s breathtaking Maitai Bay.
Closer to Cape Reinga is Rarawa, a pristine beach with the whitest sand in New Zealand.
To the south you will find endless beauty at Tauranga Bay, Mahinepua Bay, Te Ngaere Bay and Matauri Bay, all located on a spectacular coastal drive.
